We are saddened to announce that our esteemed Life Member Greg O'Neill passed away on Saturday night January 9th. The club's deepest sympathy is extended to Lola, Brendan, Stephen, Deanne and family.
Greg spent many enjoyable hours at the cricket club during his playing days and served the club as Treasurer for 4 years. Greg played 122 games for the club from 1965/66 with 103 of those wicketkeeping for the first XI. In recent seasons Greg has enjoyed coming back to the club and catching up with some other past players at the annual past players day.
A Funeral Service to celebrate the Life of Gregory John (Greg) O'Neill will be held at the Lilydale Memorial Park Chapel, 128 Victoria Rd, Lilydale (Mel ref: 280 D10) TOMORROW (Thurs. Jan. 14) at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in the Lawn Section.
For those unable to attend a Memorial Mass will be held at the Basilica of Our Lady of Victories, 548 Burke Rd, Camberwell on SUNDAY (Jan. 24) at 10.30 a.m.
